Liposculpture |
 |
Liposculpting, also known as liposuction,
is a safe and effective procedure to contour the body by
removing localized fat that doesn't respond to dieting and
exercise from virtually every area of the body. Unlike what many
people think, It should be looked at as a technique for
improving body shape rather than helping with weight loss.
That’s why the best results are usually seen in patients who are
not overweight, but who have localized fat deposits.
Liposculpture will help restore body
contours or even create them where they never existed before and
give patients the desired smooth body silhouette .The elasticity
of the skin will adapt to a new contour once the underlying fat
has been removed.
Since this procedure is done with micro
cannulas (the instruments used to suction the fat) through very
tiny incisions that usually do not even require a suture,
delicate contours can be created with minimal tissue trauma.
More importantly, liposculpture can be done under local
anesthesia and the patient can go home shortly after the
procedure is finished.
