Clitoral Hood Reduction |
 |
The clitoris is the female’s equivalent to
a penis for men, it’s covered by skin which can sometimes be
enlarged and redundant and thus preventing proper clitoral
stimulation during intercourse.
This tissue can sometimes make the clitoris look uneven or not
in proportion with the labia minora. It can also be
uncomfortable or look like a small bulge in bathing suit or
tight fitting clothing, causing the woman to be bothered and
self-conscious.
Removing the extra tissues by a procedure
called “Clitoral hood reduction” or clitoral enhancement, can
significantly reduce the bulk in a way that doesn’t touch the
clitoris itself or interferes with its nerves. After the
procedure, clitoral sensitivity will not decrease but in fact it
will increase and that will significantly improve sexual
responsiveness. It may be done as an isolated procedure, or in
association with Labiaplasty. |
